By BMW i, the Series 7 iPerformance picks up the plug-in hybrid system, which combines the 2-liter four-cylinder TwinPower Turbo petrol with a power of 258 hp and an electric motor of 113 hp, built-in 8-speed Steptronic gearbox. The result is a total power of 326 hp, with acceleration from a standstill, for the 740th, of 5.4 seconds and a fuel consumption (average) from subcompact, which varies between 2.2 and 2 liters per 100 km, depending on the type of rubber used, and CO2 emissions by between 50 and 45 g / km.

The Series 7 can also be operated only with the electric motor, reaching speeds up to 140 km / h, and with an autonomy that can reach 48 km; if you drive to the bottom, it comes to the aid the gasoline engine.
