Toyota C-HR Interior

Although we had seen to date several images of the new compact crossover of the Japanese firm after its presentation at the last Geneva Motor Show, Toyota C-HR, we had yet to see the images of the interior. And something told us that in view of the bet on the outside towards a more dynamic lines-even at the cost of sacrificing its practicidad-, drink too directly inside of the riskiest and such a bet and as we can see … it has.

The truth is that except for the GT86, the C-HR breaks continuity with the lines used to date by Toyota, still without being a sports model, if you bet towards a much more daring and risky aesthetic, positioning straddles the Auris and RAV4. Its length is 4.36 meters, while its height in the hybrid version reaches 1.55 meters.

But let’s come to appreciate its interior. The first thing we find is the 8-inch touch screen in an elevated position above the central air vents and controls the air conditioning system with a clearly focused orientation to the driver. And even if it is integrated into the dashboard itself, the fact is that priority has been given more height above combine aesthetics and better integration into the console.

There is a blue line that runs along the dashboard horizontally, also coming to the door panels in order to give a greater feeling of spaciousness for the occupants, under which another molding piano black in the images combines stands used with leather upholstery in the same color. We can also see an improvement in the quality of the materials used.

All C-HR integrated standard with the Toyota Safety Sense integrates the assistant involuntary change lanes, traffic sign recognition, automatic lights road or an automatic emergency braking, although higher-end finishes can opt alloy wheels with 18-inch, two-tone metallic paint, stereo sound with 576 watts JBL, tinted glass, smart entry system, among others.

Mechanical supply in Europe (variable depending on market) will be formed by a three-cylinder 1.2 petrol 116 hp and the same hybrid engine used in Prius, with which should obtain records on consumption very interesting.
